Who is Dekaar?

Dekaar is a small, craft-based sole proprietorship creating unique interior products in Jesmonite – a modern and eco-friendly material known for its strength, lightness, and natural finish. Every piece is handmade in small batches, with a focus on detail, quality, and a calm aesthetic.

Behind Dekaar lies a passion for the simple and natural – with a love for shapes, textures, and colors that bring a sense of peace to a space. Each product has its own personality; small variations in surface and color are not flaws, but rather proof that you own something genuine and unique.

The name Dekaar is inspired by the Nordic word dekor (decor), and our approach is exactly that:

“To create decor that matters – slowly, mindfully, and with care.”

Why Jesmonite?

Jesmonite is a water-based material, free from solvents and toxic substances. It has a stone-like surface and can be shaped and colored in many different ways – perfect for those who want something different and eco-conscious in their home.
